URGENT MESSAGE: 3/1/10: THE DEAD LINE FOR "HINDU SAMAJ BOARD OF TRUSTEES ELECTION NOMINATION" AND "TO BECOME MEMBER TO VOTE IN 2010 OR RENEW YOUR MEMBERSHIP TO BE ELIGIBLE TO VOTE IN 2010" IS EXTENDED TO """MARCH 3RD, 2010-WEDNESDAY 11:59PM""". THIS CHANGE IS MADE TO GIVE CONSIDERATIONS FOR TIME LOSTS BY MANY HINDU SAMAJ AND COMMUNITY MEMBERS DUE TO POWER FAILURE/INTERNET OUTAGES AND POSTAL MAIL PICK UP OUTAGES DUE TO SNOW STORM IN MID HUDSON VALLY.

Hindu Samaj Board of Trustees Elections (2010) and General Body Meeting:

Dear Hindu Samaj Life/Annual Members AND Community members,

Please take a notice that Hindu Samaj board would conduct the General Body meeting and Election for
Board Trustees on

Date: April 25th, 2010 Sunday from 1PM to 5PM with details to follow as we come closure.

Last date/time for filing nominations for Election: March 3rd, 2010, 11:59PM

Number of positions: 4 (All for full 3 year terms)
Note:
The term for the seats currently held by the following trustees expires on April 30th, 2010 and will be up for election:

1. Shri Anil Garg
2. Smt. Anchala Sobrin
3. Shri Kiran Sheth and
4. Smt. Kusum Gupta.

Candidate Eligibility for Election Nomination: HS membership in good-standing since March 1st, 2009 (Life member OR Annual member for at least one year or more)

Eligibility to attend General Body Meeting and Vote: Hindu Samaj members in good standing as of March 3rd, 2010

Candidates with the top four highest votes will be Elected as a Hindu Samaj board member.

Hindu Samaj Board request to the interested Hindu Samaj members in good standing for at least one year since, March 1st, 2009 and seeking to be a Nominee for the Board trustee election- to provide his/her nomination in writing to following via email with or mail with date/time stamp or post mark date of no later than March 3rd, 2010 11:59PM to:

Current trustees who's terms expires are also requested to follow the same guidelines to submit their nominations by dead lines with provided methods.

Withdrawal of the nomination: April, 1st by 11:59PM in writing to the same individuals who are responsible to collect the nominations above.

General Body Meeting Notice:
Hindu Samaj Life or Annual member in good standing who wants to provide any referendum or items to change in By Laws or agenda item for General Body meeting, Please provide to Kamlesh Patel-Chair, By Laws committee by February 26, 2010 for HS board to review, deliberate and decide on the request to be placed on the agenda for General Body Meeting.
